Hafa Adai and congratulations on your successful launching of the "Offisland.com" web site.  May your presence on the information superhighway prove to be a beacon of information and a beneficial source of news keeping all in touch with current happenings on Guam.

I am acutely aware of the advantages the Internet can bring to one's efforts.  Since arriving in Washington, I have found the Internet to be a powerful tool for communicating with the people of Guam and educating the rest of America about the issues which affect our island.

It is through ingenuity such as yours that keeps our culture flourishing and the chamorro identity strong.  Your efforts demonstrate that our culture can have an impact beyond the shores of our island. Si Yu'os Ma'ase for your commitment to keeping those of us residing off-island connected with our homeland. Good luck with your endeavor.  To all of our fellow islanders, may the upcoming holiday season be a source of peace and contentment.

Sinseru yan Magahet, si
