1LT Eric Rivera Quitugua

1LT Lieutenant Eric R. Quitugua was born in Guam. He attended
George Washington High School and graduated in 1990. He graduated
from the University of Guam with a bachelor's degree in Business Management,
and was commissioned a second lieutenant in the Field Artillery through
the ROTC program in 1995.
He graduated from the Field Artillery Officer's Basic Course and also
completed the MLRS (Multiple Launch Rocket System) follow-on course.
He is also a graduate of the Signal Officer Branch Qualification Course.
While stationed at Fort Hood, he participated in the testing and fielding
of the Signal Corps' new Integrated Systems Control (ISYSCON) Center.
His assignments include Platoon Leader, A Battery, 6/37 Field Artillery
Battalion (MLRS), 2D Infantry Division, Korea; Executive Officer A Battery,
6/37 FA, 2ID; Platoon Leader, A Company, 57th Signal Battalion, 3D Signal
Brigade; Executive Officer, D Company 57th Signal Battalion, 3D Signal
Brigade, and is currently serving as the Assistant Brigade Operations Officer
(S-3 Ops), HHC, 3D Signal Brigade.
He is married to the former Kiomi R. Cing of Barrigada and they have
two children, Kiara, who is 6, and EJ, who is 2. He and his family
are currently stationed at Fort Hood which is located in the city of Killeen,
Texas.
