So! You wanna move to Guam!

Population
There are three distinct population regions on Guam. The northern end, which houses Andersen Air Force Base and NCTAMS, is the industrial area. Dededo, the most populated village, is located in this district.

The central section is the business area. Many small villages all running into one another are located on the western side of the island. This is where most of the businesses and the government agencies are located. Agana, the capital, is located at the southern edge of the area.

The south end of the island is the agricultural area. This relatively sparsely populated area is where the farms (or ranches, as they are called here) are located. Although they come no where near close to providing enough fruit and vegetables for the entire island, you can find roadside stands full of interesting items all over the island.

There is a census being conducted at this time.  However, Offisland received from the Mayor's Executive  Director Office the 1997 Village District Census and may be found in this series.  In 1980, the population was recorded at 105,979.  The 1990 census counted 133,152 people living on Guam.
