Hafa Adai fellow Chamorro’s and friends. I would like to welcome you to the first edition of the Chamorro Association of Central Texas “CACT” quarterly newsletter called “Tropic Topics”.  It gives me great pleasure to be able to address you all.

Our goal every quarter is to deliver a Newsletter this is fresh, bold and honest and respectful of our cultural connection and our splendid diversity.

The new administration of the Chamorro Association of Central Texas is engage in a relationship with our members, all Chamorro’s and friends. We want you to think of CACT as a person – a friend – an organization that you can belong too where the ingredients of Friendship, Mutual Trust and Respect lies deep within each member.  A good friend is Trustworthy, cares about you, your wants and desires. CACT will stay alert and be open to suggestions to make the quality of your life better and easier. Along with that CACT strives to “Preserve the Chamorro Cultural Heritage”. We at CACT would like to pass along our Culture and Heritage to our kids and to be able to make Central Texas aware of our Heritage.
