The flowers all around 
send the scent of fresh rainfall, 
As the animals scurry around 
of spring times's lovely call..... 

The violets so beautiful 
the daisy's gleam with shine, 
No matter where you go or look 
a touch of spring is what you'll find..... 

Baby rabbits explore the ground 
hopping here and there, 
Baby chicks huddle close to mom 
to eat some tiny worms they'd share..... 

The grass it seems 
to have grown greener, 
And bears wake up 
to search for dinner..... 

So when the season 
brings April showers, 
In a month you'll see 
a bountiful of May's Flowers..... 

A time for us to rejoice 
of making it through hard times, 
Fullfillment of life itself 
which in turn makes dark days shine..... 

A time for family gatherings 
and see how the young have grown, 
Sharing tales, having fun, while eating BBQ and learn some things you haven't known..... 

A time when the Easter Bunny 
makes his daily rounds, 
Bringing the children lots of chocolate 
and eggs that will be hidden in the ground..... 

A time for us to reflect 
on how we've lead our lives, 
The ups and downs of everyday 
and the things we've sacrificed..... 

A time for egghunts 
the the children love so much, 
To hear the sounds of laughter 
every heart it shall touch.....
